FambamOS ("we," "us," "the app") is a household coordination app: a shared calendar, tasks, and a Household Inbox that turns incoming family information into events and tasks a household member confirms. This policy explains what we collect, why, and how it's protected.
Information we collect
Account information. When you sign in, we collect your email address (used only for passwordless sign-in — we never see or store a password). You choose a display name for yourself and any other household member you add.
Household content. Events, tasks, routines, meal plans, and grocery lists you and your household create — titles, times, locations, notes, and who owns or is assigned to each one. This content is visible only to members of your household.
Household Inbox captures. Screenshots, forwarded emails, shared text/links, or voice memos you or another household member submit to be turned into a proposed event or task.
- Voice memos are transcribed on your device; the audio itself is never uploaded, stored, or sent anywhere — only the resulting text.
- Screenshots and forwarded email content are processed by our server to propose an event or task. Nothing is ever added to your calendar automatically — a household member always reviews and confirms (or edits, or discards) the proposal first.
- To generate that proposal, the relevant text or image is sent to Anthropic (the company behind Claude, our AI provider) for one-time processing. It is not used by Anthropic to train their models, and we do not send this content to any other third-party AI provider.
Photos. If you or a household member sets a photo as their avatar, or captures a screenshot for the Inbox, that photo is stored in a private location only your household members can access — never public, never indexed, never shared outside your household.
Push notification tokens. If you turn on notifications, your device registers a push token with Apple (APNs) or Google (FCM) via Expo's push notification service, so we can deliver reminders, handoff notices, and (if enabled) a daily morning summary. This token identifies your device for delivery purposes only.
Household PINs. An optional 4-digit PIN a household owner can set on a shared device to speed up switching between members — this is a convenience feature, not an account password. It's stored as a one-way cryptographic hash; we cannot recover or view it.
Children as household members
A child can be added to a household as a member without their own account, email, or login — an adult manages their calendar/tasks on their behalf. FambamOS does not require, request, or knowingly collect any account credentials from a child, and does not knowingly allow a child to create their own account.
How we use your information
- To provide the core functionality of the app: your shared calendar, tasks, and Inbox.
- To deliver notifications you've opted into.
- To improve the accuracy of Household Inbox extraction (via Anthropic, as described above) — never to train third-party models, never for advertising.
We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing or advertising purposes.
Third-party service providers
- Supabase — hosts our database, file storage, authentication, and background processing. Your household's data is stored on Supabase's infrastructure, encrypted in transit (TLS).
- Anthropic — processes Household Inbox content (screenshots, forwarded text, voice transcripts) to propose events/tasks, as described above.
- Expo — relays push notifications to Apple's and Google's push services.
Each provider only receives the minimum data needed to perform its function, and none are permitted to use your data for their own purposes.
Data access and deletion
Household data (events, tasks, Inbox items, member profiles) is visible only to members of your household, enforced at the database level — one household cannot see another's data.
You can delete your account at any time from Home → Account settings. This immediately and permanently removes your login and personal profile. Shared household content you created (events, tasks, etc.) is reassigned to another household member rather than deleted, so a family's shared calendar isn't destroyed because one member leaves — unless you're the last member with a login in a household, in which case the entire household and all its data is deleted. This cannot be undone.
To request deletion outside the app, or ask any question about your data, contact us at hello@stackedsolollc.com.
Security
- All data in transit is encrypted (TLS).
- Household data is protected by row-level access rules enforced by our database, not just app-layer checks — a request for another household's data is rejected at the database itself.
- PINs are never stored in plain text.
- Photos and Inbox screenshots are stored in private, access-controlled locations, never public.
Changes to this policy
If we make a material change to this policy, we'll update the "Last updated" date above and, for significant changes, notify you in the app.
